Job Details
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights 7 PM - 7 AM, Friday to Sunday. Must be willing to take call 3-5 times per month.
Location
Multiple locations within the region
Requirements
- Experience with Philips CT equipment
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Valid Florida Rad Tech license
Responsibilities
The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing basic radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
- Demonstrating proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT scans of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities, as well as biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Understand the processing of CT systems and the execution of surgical/sterile procedures with or without contrast media.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
