Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. This position involves providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: 2:1, occasionally 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Type of Equipment: Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000

General Requirements

• Minimum Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Schedule Frequency: Created in 4-week increments with some self-scheduling elements
• Floating Policy: Contract labor may be asked to float to other units as necessary

Patient Care Expectations

The ideal candidate will provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their family members, ensuring a positive patient experience at all times.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Active RN License
• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• Previous ICU experience

Advanced Skills

Proficiency in the following procedures is needed:

• Insertion of central lines
• Arterial line placements
• Lumbar punctures
• Chest tube insertions
• EVD insertions

Dress Code

Required uniform includes navy scrubs (tops and bottoms).
