Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong Meditech experience and demonstrate high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Unit Information

• Location: McKinney, TX
• Unit Type: 37-bed Emergency Department with Level 2 Trauma capability
• Staffing: 73 Full-Time Equivalents (FTE)
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 in designated zones
• Type of Equipment: GE Monitors
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  • High-Caliber Patient Experience Skills
  • Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Preferred Experience: Experience within emergency departments is highly valued.
• Ideal Candidate: Candidates with HCA/Meditech experience and a quick start date are preferred.

Work Schedule

• Shifts: 6 PM to 6 AM
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week period
• On Call: No on-call requirement

Dress Code

Scrub Color/Attire: Royal Blue top and bottom
