Position Summary

The CT Technologist provides specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical services on both an inpatient and outpatient basis across various areas including Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and Ear/Nose/Throat (ENT). This position is responsible for the technical operation of radiologic x-ray equipment and the processing of radiographic images.

Necessary Qualifications

Education

• Completed radiology training from an AMA approved school of Radiology.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the radiology field, specifically in CT.
• Proficient in operating teleradiology and fax equipment.
• Ability to perform X-ray procedures; this assignment will cover both CT and X-ray responsibilities.

Licenses

• Must possess a current valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R).
• Must hold a current ARRT Certification in Radiology with advanced qualifications in CT Scan (RT)(CT).
• Must maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association throughout employment.

Shift Information

This position requires working three consecutive 13-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday, with hours from 6 PM to 7 AM.

Holiday Coverage

Holiday coverage is required for this position.

Minimum Years of Experience

At least 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Certifications / Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
• ARRT Certification in Radiology (R)
