Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the medical staff in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Job Details
- Location: City, State
- Shift: Days (7 AM - 7 PM)
- Duration: 13 weeks
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
- Administer medications and implement prescribed treatment plans.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and report changes to the medical team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records through electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (pending ACLS certification will be accepted if obtained prior to start).
- Experience with Cerner EMR.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Permanent address must be located 50+ miles from the facility.
Scheduling and Availability
The facility can accommodate scheduling requests of up to 48 hours per week. Please communicate any specific scheduling preferences upon submission.
