Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and newborns. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise, compassion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the health status of patients in labor and delivery.
• Provide education and support to expectant mothers and their families.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief options for patients.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in training and development activities to maintain clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent nursing degree.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
