Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) Traveler RN to join our dedicated Family Birth Place Team. In this role, you will engage in providing couplet care, including L&D, OR, PACU, and postpartum services, with an average of 60 deliveries per month, caring for infants beginning at 32 weeks gestation. Our team prides itself on utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance the experience for our clients, and a collaborative spirit is essential for success in this environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for expectant mothers and newborns in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
  • Assist in managing high delivery volumes, with projections of over 80 deliveries per month.
  • Apply clinical expertise while emphasizing compassionate care.

Schedule

This position requires working 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends. Additionally, a call rotation will be in place, typically one 12-hour shift every six weeks, subject to change.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Colorado or compact license to practice in Colorado.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • STABLE certification.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience, including charge experience.
  • Flu vaccination required by October 2026.
