Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurocritical care, with experience in managing complex neurological conditions.

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Neuro ICU and IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit)
• Patient-to-Nurse Ratios:
  • ICU: 1-2 Patients
  • Stepdown: 3-4 Patients
• Floating between ICU and stepdown units may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health management and treatment processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in neurocritical care or related specialty.
• Valid nursing license verified through Nursys.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Ability to provide work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Strong references and completed skills checklist required.
