Position Overview

Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic Labor & Delivery unit. This position is focused on providing exceptional patient care and ensures a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Unit Information

This Labor & Delivery unit features:

• Number of Beds: 18
• Number of Staff: 54
• Staff Structure:
• Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 8-10 RNs, 1-2 OB Technicians, 1 Health Unit Coordinator
• Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 8-10 RNs, 1-2 OB Technicians
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 for Pitocin, C-section delivery, Recovery; 2-3 for Antepartum patients, following AWHONN guidelines
• Type of Equipment: GE fetal monitoring
• EMR: CPN Meditech

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Labor management
• Circulating cesarean sections
• Performing vaginal deliveries, triage, and iron infusions

Qualifications

Mandatory qualifications include:

• Proven experience in labor management
• Experience in circulating cesarean sections

Preferred qualifications include:

• Additional experience in various labor and delivery procedures
