Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. This role encompasses providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while adhering to established clinical guidelines and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Deliver competent and compassionate care to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform a variety of clinical assessments and interventions.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology as required.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using the electronic health record system.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center is preferred.
• Must possess current state nursing license and relevant certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to coach and provide feedback effectively.
• Flexibility to work in various areas within the Emergency Department.

Work Environment

The Emergency Department is equipped with 101 beds and serves a diverse patient population. The RN-to-patient ratio is typically 4:1, with a maximum of 7:1 during behavioral holds. Team members are encouraged to embrace a culture of respect, communication, and ongoing professional development.
