Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Scrub Technician to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support in the operating room to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in preparing for procedures by gathering and organizing necessary instruments and supplies.
• Ensure that the operating room is sterile and ready for surgical procedures.
• Pass instruments to surgeons during operations and anticipate their needs.
• Help maintain a hygienic environment in the surgical area and comply with established protocols.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative processes, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the surgical team.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED required; Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a Scrub Technician or in an operating room setting preferred.
• Certification as a Surgical Technician (CST) or Tech in Surgery (TS-C, NCCT) is required.
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor is required.
• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
