Special Procedures Technologist

Job Summary

The Special Procedures Technologist is responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role requires technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Schedule

Shifts are available in the following time frames:

• 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Additional responsibilities include being on call after hours and working every other weekend, along with two weeknight shifts per week. Detailed scheduling information will be discussed during the interview process.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent is preferred, as some certifications may require a Bachelor's degree.
• Three years of technical experience in the field is preferred.
• Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is preferred.
• Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice is required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor as per organizational policy is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification is required.
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification is required.
• Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or its equivalent (PVMB, TEAM-A, CPI) is required.

The Special Procedures Technologist will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with medical staff to provide optimal patient care.
