Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves working in a labor and delivery environment, as well as providing care in a Level 2 nursery. Ideal candidates will have a passion for postpartum care and possess strong clinical skills.

Shift Details

• Day shifts, 12 hours in duration
• Weekly hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Shifts typically start around 6:00 AM and end at 6:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the labor and delivery unit.
• Assist with postpartum care for mothers and newborns.
• Support and monitor patients in a Level 2 nursery.
• Utilize advanced neonatal care techniques and protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience: Preferred experience in an acute care facility; NICU experience is required.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required.
• Additional Skills: NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, and BLS certifications are mandatory. Experience in a Level 2 NICU is essential.
