Description
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in critical care environments, specifically concerning telemetry and cardiac care.
Scheduled Details
- Shift: Night Shift
- Hours: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00)
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirements: As needed
Experience Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Critical Care Unit (CCU) or a high-level telemetry setting.
- Proficiency with titratable drips, BiPAP, and long-term ventilation.
- Strong background in cardiac nursing; rehabilitation experience is not acceptable.
Preferred Experience
- Over 5 years of experience in telemetry nursing.
- Experience in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) or CCU settings.
Licensure and Certification Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess the following:
- Illinois Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
Floating Requirements
The selected candidate should be willing to float to similar Med/Surg Units and Intermediate Care Units as needed.
Orientation
New employees will undergo a 12-hour orientation, which includes 6 hours of non-billable training.
