Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care within the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting in various procedures and ensuring a safe environment for patients.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, including every other weekend, with the expectation to float when necessary.
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Number of Suites: 5 suites, specializing in coronary, peripheral, vascular, neuro, and EP cases.
• Average Cases per Day: Between 10 to 22 cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various cath lab procedures, including monitoring hemodynamics and implementing procedural protocols.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Occasionally take on the role of a Lead Tech, responsible for room assignments.
• Prepare for emergency procedures and provide support as needed.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS Certification, Fluoroscopy.
• Minimum of 2 years of current cath lab experience required.
• Knowledge of conscious and moderate sedation protocols.
• Familiarity with cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors.
• Experience with airway management and balloon pumps is essential.

Additional Information

We welcome first-time travelers and can accommodate flexible scheduling options, including 10 or 12-hour shifts and block scheduling from Friday to Sunday. The position may include rotating call responsibilities for inpatient and emergent cases.
