Job Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography scans and assisting in various diagnostic imaging tasks. The position requires a professional who is adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Unit: CT (Computed Tomography)
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT
• Required certifications:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• COVID Vaccine Required

Equipment and EMR

• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Experience with Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT systems

Department Structure

Reports to the Manager and Team Lead in the Diagnostic Radiology department.

Shift and Weekend Requirements

This position requires a night shift commitment with rotating weekends.

Holiday and Call Requirements

Holidays may be required as needed. Call duties will be discussed further during the interview process.

Orientation and Training

New hires will undergo a floor-specific orientation lasting 1-2 shifts in the department.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both inpatient and outpatient settings, and responsibilities may involve operating in the OR and ER. Candidates should be prepared to manage varying types of patient cases efficiently.

Additional Notes

Candidates should be self-starters and ready to contribute positively in a dynamic setting. Level II Trauma experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with C-arms in the OR is beneficial.
