Job Description

Join a unique adult medical/surgical unit that caters to patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and behavioral issues. This expanding unit is seeking flexible, enthusiastic, and committed nurses to contribute to its growth. Experience in medical/surgical acute care is advantageous, and a willingness to care for a varied patient population in a dynamic environment is essential. Nurses will have the opportunity to pursue dual-certification in both medical/surgical nursing and psychiatric nursing once experience requirements are met.

Schedule

This position involves straight nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback responsibilities.

Job Requirements

• Active RN License (New York License only)
• Minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical experience
• Required experience in psychology
• Telemetry experience is preferred

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association only)
