Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating the care needed by assigned patients under the guidance of a licensed physician. The RN utilizes a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles, theories, and current practices to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ health conditions and determine necessary nursing interventions.
• Implement appropriate care plans based on patient needs and medical advice.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, professional peers, and other healthcare team members to ensure personalized care.
• Direct and supervise nursing support staff in accordance with nursing standards and departmental policies.
• Maintain knowledge of current nursing practices and advancements in the field.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty is preferred.
• Licenses: Must possess a valid PA Registered Nurse License.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification is required; Multi-State Compact RN License is also required.
