Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, effective communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions and document changes in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
• Current AHA BLS certification is required.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Holiday Expectations

The position requires a schedule that varies between 7 PM to 7 AM. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
