Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and a strong background in maternal and neonatal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients.
• Support deliveries, managing an average of 200 per month.
• Conduct independent IV starts, lab draws from IV starts, and perform accurate vaginal exams.
• Offer labor support and interpret fetal monitor strips according to NICHD guidelines.
• Display strong multitasking abilities and effective communication skills.
• Comfortably ask questions and adapt quickly to a new unit environment.
• May serve as the second RN in the operating room if experienced and comfortable.

This position is based in a facility located in [City, State].

Qualifications

• Current licenses and certifications required: ACLS and NRP.
• ALSO certification is preferred.
• Experience with high-level care for NICU patients is a plus.

Work Schedule

• Weekend rotation required: Every other weekend as needed.
• No mandatory call duty.

• Free parking is available on-site.
• Scrubs provided in navy blue; L&D staff are expected to change into scrubs at the facility.
• Floating to Mother Baby unit may be required.
