Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced Medical/Surgical team. This position will primarily support an inpatient observation unit, responding to varying patient acuity and needs. There may also be a requirement to float to other areas of competency as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care within a 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit.
• Manage patient caseloads that include medical beds, trauma overflow beds, and mid holds ranging from lower to higher acuity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adapt to changing patient needs and acuity levels in a dynamic environment.
• Participate in on-going professional development and education.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar acute care setting is required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• TNCC certification preferred.
