Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Emergency Room

Unit Information

Location: Dallas, TX

Number of Beds: 86
Number of Staff: 105
Staffing:
- Day Shift – 7 RNs, with additional staff brought in every 2 hours, totaling 18-20 RNs during peak hours
- Night Shift – 6-7 RNs
Patient Ratios: Acuity-based, typically 4:1 but subject to surge requirements
Type of Equipment: Standard Emergency Room equipment
Electronic Medical Records: Meditech

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Experience in acute patient care
Familiarity with Meditech EMR
Positive attitude with high energy
Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills:

Trauma center experience

Airway and Respiratory Procedures
Vascular Access Procedures
Trauma Assessment and Management
Emergency Medical Procedures
