Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency department care and be proficient in using the EPIC system. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery and employ strategies to promote health and ensure a safe environment.
• Evaluate progress towards health outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and compassionate care.
• Provide education and information for patients and their families.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the emergency department, preferably 3 or more years.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
• Current certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
