Radiologic Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist with expertise in X-ray and CT imaging to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and CT examinations as per established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain and manage imaging equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in all imaging practices.

Work Schedule

This position requires 8-hour shifts with rotations if necessary. Weekend shifts will also rotate, ensuring fair distribution among staff. On-call duties will include rotating weekday evenings and weekends, typically involving one night a week. For weekend rotations, the schedule usually includes two weekends off followed by on-call duties for a weekend, repeating this cycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in radiologic technology.
• Certification in Radiography via ARRT is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Current Kansas Limited Radiography Technology (LRT) license.
• Experience in CT procedures is preferred but not required.
• Must have successfully completed at least two travel contracts.

Additional Information

All healthcare professionals will be required to undergo a drug screening on-site as part of compliance requirements. Please be aware that housing needs to be arranged in advance, as this has been a concern in previous assignments. Applicants must reside more than 45 miles from the facility, and this mileage must be noted in the submission packet.
