CT Technologist

General Information

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department. This position is located in Brevard, NC, and offers opportunities to work with a diverse range of imaging equipment and procedures.

Unit Information

• Imaging Rooms: 1 CT, 1 Trauma x-ray, 1 Fluoroscopy/x-ray, 2 Portables
• Number of Staff: 22
• Staff Types:
  • Day Shift: 1 Lead Technologist, 3 - 4 Multi-Modality Technologists
  • Night Shift: 1 Multi-Modality Technologist
  • Weekend Shifts: 1 Multi-Modality Technologist
• Type of Equipment: All GE (Digital Radiology)
• EMR: Cerner/PowerChart, PACS Phillips Intellispace

Responsibilities

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing routine CT and CTA exams, including but not limited to:

• All types of CT procedures (except cardiac)
• CT guided biopsies
• Full range of Trauma Radiology, Fluoroscopy, and C-Arm cases

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• Required:
  • Experience performing routine CT and CTA exams
  • Experience with GE x-ray units and CT scanners
  • Required Certifications: R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT), BLS
• Preferred:
  • Prior experience with Radiology travel assignments
  • Familiarity with Cerner and Phillips PACS software applications

Dress Code

Appropriate attire includes navy blue scrubs.

Floating Areas

The Technologist may be required to float between CT, x-ray, and Fluoroscopy areas as needed.

Work Schedule

This position typically offers night shifts, with a schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
