Position Overview

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures according to established protocol and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. This role operates within a designated cost center, adhering to operational hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans accurately and efficiently while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare and maintain equipment for imaging procedures, conducting regular quality checks.
• Obtain and review patient medical histories to ensure proper imaging protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret scans and provide high-quality imaging services.
• Maintain patient records and handle administrative tasks related to imaging services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Current certification in MRI technology from a recognized professional organization.
• Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures.
• Excellent patient care skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
