Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery team. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients during the childbirth process. The successful candidate will work the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Responsibilities

Assess patient conditions and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
Monitor and document fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
Assist in the labor and delivery process, providing support to patients and families.
Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide education and support to patients regarding childbirth and postnatal care.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of practice.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
Certification in Fetal Monitoring.
Experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.

Work Environment

This role is situated in a high-volume setting, with approximately 240 births per month. There will be no floating to other departments, allowing you to focus solely on Labor & Delivery.
