MRI Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to join our team. This position requires a strong background in MRI technology, with an emphasis on patient care and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the scanning process.
• Maintain MRI equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Document and maintain patient records following the procedures.

Schedule

The position involves working 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday. Attendance for orientation is required in person, with specific details regarding locations and schedules provided upon hire.

Weekend and Holiday Requirements

• Participation in on-call duties every sixth weekend, with a minimum two-hour call back requirement.
• Paid holidays will reduce hours in the subsequent pay period if they fall on a scheduled workday.

Floating Requirements

Employees may be required to float between multiple locations within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Proficient in working with Siemens 1.5 T Sola, Unity PACS, and Inteview PACS.
• Experience with patients who have implanted devices is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of travel experience is necessary.
• ARMRIT certification or ARRT (MR) along with BLS certification is required.
• New graduates will not be considered for this position.
