Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty and is expected to provide high-quality respiratory care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and perform diagnostic procedures.
- Evaluate and assess patient needs and responses to therapy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Current Georgia Respiratory Therapist License (RRT).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty.
- Two professional references required.
Schedule
The work schedule varies and is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend.
Holiday Expectations
Candidates must be available to work during major holidays, specifically:
- Two of the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.
- One minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
