Title: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist

Location: 1001 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights | 3 × 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
Shift: 12-hour Nights
EMR: Epic
Call: No Call Required

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
• Pediatric experience REQUIRED
• ICU experience REQUIRED
• NICU experience preferred
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• Active Georgia Respiratory Therapist license required at the time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Level I Trauma experience highly preferred
• Travel experience preferred

Schedule & Unit Requirements

• Every other weekend required
• Flexible scheduling based on department needs
• Must be willing to float to AMBH and SR
• Must work at least one winter holiday as needed by the department
• No Call

Submission Requirements

• Updated resume clearly showing pediatric and ICU experience
• Active GA license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• All RTO must be provided at the time of submission
• RTO submitted after initial submission may not be considered

Facility Requirements

• Nicotine-Free Facility: Candidates must complete nicotine testing along with the required drug screen.
• Flu Vaccine Required: CHOA requires the flu vaccination during flu season. No exemptions are accepted, including medical or religious exemptions.
