Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care unit, which includes an IMCU with 16-10 beds. This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work with a varied patient population.
Unit Overview
- Unit Type: Progressive Care (IMCU)
- Bed Capacity: 16-10 beds
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1 to 4
Patient Population
The Registered Nurse will care for patients with complex medical needs, including:
- Sepsis
- Heart Failure
- Hypertensive Emergency
- Respiratory Failure
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Chronic Kidney Disease
- Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (TDM2)
- Substance Abuse
- Encephalopathy
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
- Administering medications, including Heparin Drips
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Providing education and support to patients and families
- Documenting and maintaining accurate patient records
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Contract Details
