Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. This role requires a minimum of two years of recent experience in the specialty.
Location
Position available in 621A Acute Med Unit - City, State.
Schedule
- Shift: Monday to Sunday
- Hours: 7 PM to 7 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals undergoing medical and surgical treatment.
- Monitor patient vitals and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and assist with diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
Holiday Expectations
The selected candidate must be available to work on two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
