Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of nursing experience, with a preference for experience in long-term care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective resident care and services.
• Monitor patient health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Educate residents and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Staffing and Patient Ratios

The nursing staff is organized with a ratio of:

• 4 nurses during the day shifts
• 3 nurses during the night shifts

All staffing is assigned evenly across four halls based on resident acuity levels, with a current census of 105 total residents.

Work Schedule

This position offers a full-time commitment of 36 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime available after 48 hours worked.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience; prior long-term care experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
