Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our high-volume, busy lab environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage complex interventional cases, ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

• Unit Type: Cath Lab
• Number of Labs: 3
• Staff Per Procedure: 3
• Day Shift Staff: 9 plus supervisor
• Night Shift Staff: 3-person call team
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Type of Equipment: Philips
• EMR System: Meditech

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for:

• Performing standard diagnostic and complex interventional procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols.
• Assisting the physician during procedures and ensuring patient comfort.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Required: Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
• Certification: ARRT or RCIS is mandatory.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a similar setting.

Work Schedule

This position requires:

• A commitment to on-call duties approximately 9 days per month.
• Availability for an average of 1 weekend per month.
