Outpatient Therapist

Job Overview

This opportunity involves providing outpatient therapy in an immersive environment where patients are in recovery and reside on campus. The position is dedicated to supporting adults dealing with various challenges related to addiction recovery and related health issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for a variety of cases, including individuals with high fall risk, neuropathy, and orthopedic injuries such as acute fractures and chronic spine-related pain.
• Ensure development and implementation of evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to each patient's needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document progress using an electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Provide intermittent front desk support as needed.

Productivity Expectations

• Maintain productivity of approximately 55 patient visits per week.
• Schedule treatment sessions of 60 minutes, with patients seen every 30 minutes.

Patient Population

The primary patient population includes adults in recovery from addiction, experiencing various medical issues and rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience required.
• New graduates are not eligible for this position.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Scheduling and Working Conditions

• Flexible schedule with a commitment to 40 hours per week.
• Clinic operating hours are from 8 AM to 6 PM.
• Business casual dress code.
