Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to join our team. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, with a preference for candidates experienced in Emergency Room (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. Floating to different units may be required as needed.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 1800 to 0630
• 36 or 48 hours per week, as dictated by Management

Qualifications

• At least one year of Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months.
• Acute critical care experience within the last 12 months, or completion of EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience in good standing.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of California.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• MICN certification desired within one year of hire.
• MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN certifications are encouraged and recommended.

Physical Requirements

This position requires performing various physical tasks, including:

• Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching above shoulders, sitting, walking, and standing.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand motions.
• Occasional lifting, pulling, transferring, or pushing of patients, requiring a capability to lift up to 50 pounds from the floor.

Work Environment

The work environment may expose individuals to blood and body fluids, categorized as Category 1. It involves performing procedures or tasks with a potential for mucous membrane or skin contact with potentially infectious materials. Protective measures are required while performing these tasks.
