Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cath/IR Scrub Tech to join our team. This position requires expertise in catheterization and interventional radiology procedures, with a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in various cath lab and IR procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in orientation and training sessions as required.
• Float to Electrophysiology (EP) as needed, depending on experience.

Schedule

This position offers weekday shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with one day off during the week. Occasional late stays may be required to complete cases.

Weekend and Holiday Requirements

Weekend work is expected when on-call, which occurs every third or fourth weekend. Holiday requirements will be based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in Cath Lab and IR.
• Experience with pacemakers is required.
• Ability to float to Electrophysiology is preferred.
• Current ARRT or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Nicotine-free status is required.

Additional Information

This role involves a two-day orientation at the beginning of employment, with subsequent orientation to the unit. Non-billable hours will be necessary for these training sessions. All candidates must complete required credentialing within specified timelines.
