Number of Beds: 854
Number of Staff: 120
Staffing Details
- Day Shift: 15-20 RRTs for Adult services; 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatric services
- Night Shift: 12-16 RRTs for Adult services; 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatric services
Patient Ratios
10 - 25 patients per RRT
Equipment Used
- GE R860 Adult ventilators
- Draeger Infant/Pediatric ventilators
- Newport HT70 transport ventilator
- V60 Non-invasive devices
- Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System

Qualifications
Required Certifications
- North Carolina Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Personality Fit
Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
Floating Areas
Must be willing to float to all critical care units and floors as needed.

Weekend Requirements
Must be available to work varying weekends, with at least 4 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule.
Experience
