Description
Position Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role requires a strong background in emergency care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Details
- Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Call Requirements: Yes

- Unit: Emergency Room (ER)
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Floating Policy: As needed
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience, with at least 2 years of specialty experience in the emergency room.
- Certifications:
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (NIHSS) - REQUIRED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - REQUIRED
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - REQUIRED
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - REQUIRED
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - REQUIRED
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with the Meditech documentation system is preferred.
Licensing
All candidates must possess an active RN license. Please note that temporary licenses will not be accepted.
Dress Code
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails.
- Hair Policy: Hair should be neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors. Hair must be tied back if shoulder length or longer.
- Tattoo Policy: Body art should be covered whenever possible. Uncovered tattoos will be addressed individually.
- Piercing Policy: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings.
Unit Guidelines and Policies
- Floating Guidelines: Floating as needed within the department.
- Attendance Policies: Standard attendance policies will be observed.
