Unit Information

Location: Englewood, CO

Floor: 3rd Floor

Building: Main Hospital

General Information

This unit features:

3 CT scanners, soon to be 4
Staffing includes 13 members: 8 full-time, 1 part-time, and 3 PRN, plus 1 transporter
Equipment includes: GE Revolution 512 scanner, GE Evolution 128 scanner, GE 64 slice scanner in outpatient, and a 128 GE Frontier to be implemented
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess:

Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital CT Tech experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
ARRT (R) certification

Preferred skills include:

Experience with trauma and stroke cases
IV skills

Typical Procedures Performed

Stroke assessments
Trauma imaging
Head and chest scans
Abdomen/pelvis and CTA
