Job Description
The Obstetrics (OB) Nursing Manager is a registered nurse with demonstrated expertise in nursing. This role involves responsibility for supervising patient care, managing nursing staff, and overseeing OB operations. The OB Nursing Manager will work collaboratively with the leadership team to facilitate efficient clinical operations, promote staff development, manage resources effectively, and drive quality improvement initiatives in the OB department.
This position requires strong people management skills and the ability to take on bedside nursing shifts as needed.
Education
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
Experience
- Leadership experience within the last 2 years is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of training and experience in OB nursing is essential.
Licenses/Certification
Current RN License in the state of Colorado or a compact state is required.
