Job Summary

The CT Technologist plays a vital role in patient care by performing various imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology. This position requires proficiency in multiple modalities and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Schedule

• Day Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours each
• Rotating schedule includes 2 weekend shifts and 1 weekday shift (Monday - Friday)
• Weekend shifts: 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Weekday shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• One weekend per month and a minimum of 8 shifts during weekdays each month

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and necessary imaging procedures.
• Utilize fluoroscopy and x-ray as required.
• Assist during surgical procedures in the operating room (OR).
• Participate in call rotations as needed.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EPIC system.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; previous experience may be considered.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT).
• State licensure as a Radiologic Tech (RT) is required.
• Advanced Certification in CT preferred in California; required in Oregon and Hawaii.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Venipuncture certification required for administering contrast materials.

Additional Requirements

• Experience with EPIC system is essential.
• Must be able to comply with the varying demands of the rotating schedule.
