Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department. This position will focus on providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Details

• Start Date: Immediately
• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Night Shift - 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Location: Lutheran Hospital, IN
• Patient Ratio: 1:4 Medical overall for the Emergency Department
• Number of Beds: 30

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Indiana
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS/ENPC, and NRP certifications preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required; 5+ years preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system

Responsibilities

The Emergency Department RN will provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including trauma care, and will participate in a performance improvement focus, including sepsis management.

Facility Description

This facility is a Trauma Level 2 center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and a Comprehensive Cardiac Center, as well as offering a Pediatric Hospital within its structure.

Additional Information

Please note that there are blackout dates during major holidays, and applicants must be available to work on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Block scheduling options are available, but candidates must confirm availability for back-to-back shifts without overlap.
