Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including those with conditions such as respiratory failure, multi-system organ failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and substance withdrawal.

Schedule and Shifts

• Start Date: 10/19 or any following Monday
• Orientation: The first day is a day shift orientation, followed by a floor orientation on the contracted shift.
• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: As needed

Responsibilities

The ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-acuity care to critically ill patients.
• Floating to other ICU and inpatient units as needed.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-acuity ICU setting; preferred 5 years of experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• New graduates are not accepted for this position.
