Shift Information

Shifts: 10-hour varied shifts

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Conditions

Travelers not possessing an active State of Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of the offer and must obtain the Hawaii License before the start of the assignment. No requests for time off will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved application for a medical or religious exception will be required prior to the contract start date. Flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.

Job Responsibilities

Candidates must be able to:

• Perform routine CT scans per radiologist protocols in an independent manner.
• Meet the scanning requirements and work in an acute hospital setting effectively.
• Use Meditech EMR, as well as Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation.
• Conduct venipuncture and perform MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging.
• Assist with procedures such as biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging.
