Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Critical Care to join our team at a facility located in the vicinity of City, State. This is a night shift position, specifically working 12-hour shifts.
Unit Information
The Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) features a total of 6 beds. The unit primarily cares for patients with:
- Cardiovascular surgery
- Cardiogenic shock
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience, specifically in a cardiovascular setting
- Experience with fresh heart surgeries is required
- Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record systems
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
Travel Information
This position follows a 75-mile radius rule for travel nursing. Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are welcome to apply at a reduced rate.
