Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist with expertise in X-ray and CT imaging to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Schedule

This position follows a rotating schedule:

• Week One: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday
• Week Two: Sunday and Wednesday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and CT scans as per physician orders and establish imaging protocols.
• Ensure proper patient identification and safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to facility guidelines and safety standards.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures and answer any questions to ease anxiety.
• Review images for quality and accuracy before sending them to the radiologist.
• Document procedures accurately within the patient’s health records.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in X-ray and CT.
• State licensure as required.
• Strong knowledge of imaging techniques and patient care protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Location

This position is based in the greater area of a city in the state, with potential opportunities across multiple locations within the region.
