Unit Information
Location: Anchorage, AK
Unit Details:
- Number of Beds: Approximately 185
- Staffing: 2 PRN technicians and 1 technician in cross-training
- Current Recruitment: MRI lead and additional technician
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Equipment: GE Signa Artist 1.5T
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems: Epic, McKesson PACS
Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: Mon - Thurs, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Department Needs may influence shift timing, typically from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a range of MRI procedures including MSK, neuro, ortho, prostate, breast imaging, MRCP, defecography, and related anesthesia tasks.
- Ensure high-quality imaging with attention to detail.
- Focus on patient-centered care and follow through on commitments.
Qualifications
- Required Skills:
- ARRT Certification with MR registration
- Preferred Skills:
- 3+ years of MRI experience
