Description
Position Overview
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical care. The role requires working during weekend nights, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit.
- Evaluate and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
