Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in the intensive care unit.

Position Details

• Location: Conroe, TX
• Units Available: 30-bed ICU
• Staffing: 82 total staff members, including 2 charge nurses and 15 nurses per shift, depending on acuity and patient needs.
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1
• Equipment Used: CRRT, IABP, Impella (not mandatory for contracts)

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience with ventilators and cardiovascular drips.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in neurological care.

Typical Procedures

• Thoracentesis
• Arterial line and central line placement

Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS

Dress Code

Royal blue scrubs are required.

Work Schedule

• Four weekend shifts per month.
• No on-call requirements.
